If you want to move to a great city, you need to consult with the Cleveland realtors. Throughout all of Cleveland real estate is available in every style you can image and every price range. Cleveland, you say? Yes, Cleveland is a wonderful city in which to hang your hat. It’s not difficult to get around in like a city such as Chicago, but it has everything you want in a hometown where you want to raise your children.
If you have kids, you’ll want to take them to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. A mere 55 miles west, Cedar Point is commonly referred to as the Roller Coaster Capital of the World. Big kids will be able to get sick on the tummy-twisting hills. But Cedar Point is more than roller coasters. There are plenty of rides for visitors who want to keep their insides in one piece. Frontiertown is a nice place to relax and also demonstrations of various crafts such as spinning and glass-blowing plus a small petting zoo. There are also some antique merry-go-rounds. The most important carousel is an antique that was moved in from the old Lake Lansing in Michigan. But the most interesting carousel is Cedar Downs, which resembles a horse race. On this carousel, the horses don’t go up and down. Instead, they move forward and backward so that, when the ride stops, each row of horses has a winner and losers.
But there’s also a lot to do near home. Cleveland’s most famous attraction is located on the shore of Lake Erie. This is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. People of all ages will find something here that will bring back memories of “the good old days,” no matter when their personal “good old days” was. Each floor of the building is lined with memorabilia of all of the most famous rock and roll stars.
On another day in Cleveland’s downtown, you can explore the Great Lakes Science Center, which is next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Here, you can visit the Science Phenomenon Floor, the Regional Technologies Floor, the Return to the Moon Gallery, the Biomedical Technology Gallery, the Polymer Funhouse, and the Alternate Energy exhibit.
Also associated with the science center is the Steamship William G. Mather Museum. This museum is an actual ore freighter that brought iron ore from the iron mines in Northern Michigan to Cleveland, from where it could be transported to the steel mills. The iron ore industry was so vital to Cleveland that this ship is referred to as “The Ship that Built Cleveland.”
A short drive to the south, located in the beautiful wooded area of Cuyahoga Falls, is the Blossom Music Center. This music center providestheater seating under a stunning wooden roof and a large area of lawn seating. Many music fans prefer to purchase lawn tickets because of its casual atmosphere. Fans can bring their lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets and even a tasty bottle of wine. Concerts cater to the likesof all music-lovers.
As you can see, Cleveland long ago outgrew its dusty, smoky reputation and become a world-class city with many attractions for all visitors and residents.
